Before you install on your PC.

Check your Windows version and system type before choosing an installer. In Windows 10 or 11, open Settings → System → About. Microsoft explains how to find your system type in its Windows compatibility guidance. Zenshield has not published a confirmed minimum Windows version or processor support list. For an older PC or an ARM device, ask the team about compatibility before relying on it.

Use a computer and network where you have permission to install software and share bandwidth. Free VPN access requires accepting the in-app sharing terms. Read how the free VPN is funded before deciding whether it suits your connection.

Download, installation or connection problem?

• The download did not finish: check your browser’s downloads list and available disk space, then retry the official download above. Avoid replacement installers from search ads or third-party mirrors.
• Windows blocks the installer: stop and note the exact warning. Do not disable security protection just to continue. Follow the Windows installation checklist and contact the team if the publisher or file seems unexpected.
• The app installs but will not connect: confirm ordinary internet access works on a trusted connection, then use the VPN connection troubleshooting steps. An app opening successfully is not confirmation of an active VPN connection.

When asking for help, include your Windows version, system type, the step that failed and the exact error message. Remove passwords, account tokens and other private information from screenshots.
